MS Ireland’s Western Region is inviting people aged 18–45 to a relaxed meet-up and light lunch.

Its a short week but don't forget to keep an eye out for a MS Ireland bucket around a few of the city churches this weekend.

Let's hope the weather is like this next weekend .

If anyone else out there is able to help shake a bucket we are looking for support for masses at Ballinfoyle, Claddagh, The Cathedral, Mervue, Salthill & Westside.

One of the biggest myths about MS is that is only hits you when your older.

This is simply not true so the western regional team with Multiple Sclerosis Ireland have a Young Persons Meet up happening on Saturday 9th May at 12pm in the Clayton Hotel Galway.

This day last week we were all out on the prom so we really need to give so many thanks for helping to make our event such a success.

We, the MS Ireland Galway Branch Committee would first like to thank the city Mayor Mike Cubbard for attending our Easter Monday walk on Salthill promenade.

Thank An Garda Síochána Cáit & David of the Salthill Community Division who helped Co ordinate the walkers safely across to the prom and back.

Also shout out to Stacy Hanley Connacht Rugby for kick starting the walk on the day.

Thank you to you our supporters who walked with us and donated to our walk and supported our raffle.

Massive thanks to our volunteers who helped with buckets and set up the venue with us.

Thank you to the Salthill Hotel, without the venue we couldn’t run the event. Thank you also for the multiple teas/coffees. Your staff were also so helpful, kind and courteous.

Thank you to the fantastic Musicians who provided fabulous entertainment as we all had a cuppa and rested for a bit after the walk.
