🌊🏚️ The Old Claddagh, Galway
A colourised glimpse of the historic Claddagh village before much of it was demolished and redeveloped in the early 1930s. 🇮🇪
For generations, this close-knit fishing community stood just outside Galway city, with its thatched cottages, narrow lanes and strong maritime traditions.
Very little of the old village survives today, but photographs like this preserve a view of a community that once had a character entirely its own.
