Thank you to the local community for coming out to join us for the annual Picnic in the Garden the final event for here in Merlinwoods . Celebrating our fantastic community and opening up the garden for this wonderful event each year. Thanks to Ard Gardening Group and who put so much effort in each year to put this all together every year. Thanks to Healthy Galway City , ARD Family Resource Centre ( Ardaun, Roscam and Doughiska.) , Galway City Council Let's Get Galway Growing, Doughiska Menshed Ard Singing and Ukelele Group and many of our local businesses for their support which adds to a fantastic day for all . Thanks to all of our wonderful volunteers from across the whole section of organisations, who worked hard on getting the garden ready for the day, the set up , serving food ,BBQ food ,art,pond dipping , wildlife detective, ,and spud digging. We were delighted to have Misleór Galway Traveller Movement join us this year with their wonderful project If WattleCouldTalk These days are about sharing knowledge, storytelling,chatting , relaxing and coming together as a community and sharing this time and space together . These two items were left behind at the garden today.
A pinkextendable lead and a childs hooded mask .They are left on the fence near the sign incase anyone is looking for them
