Once again this year Ballybane youth shed in conjunction with Ballybane Community Hub and IN ART is delighted to be part of Cruinniú na nÓg in Fr Burke Park this Saturday 6th June.

It's shaping up to be a fantastic day full of creativity, fun, and plenty of inspiring energy so save the date .

Well done to Galway City Council Culture Section and Creative lreland for organising the event again this year.

Join us for the final public consultation on the Ballybane Needs Analysis Action Plan - a chance to review the full draft plan, have your say, and help shape the next steps for Ballybane.

🗓 Thursday, 4th June
🕕 6.00pm – 8.00pm

The evening will include:
✅ Presentation of the full draft Action Plan
✅ Final opportunity for community feedback and input
✅ Discussion on forming a Working Group to lead implementation
✅ Plans for the official launch event
✅ Open discussion with community groups, agencies & local partners

Galway City Council is pleased to announce the launch of its new Residents’ Association Handbook, a practical guide designed to support and strengthen new and existing residents’ associations across the city.

To accompany the launch, Galway City Council will host a series of in-person information sessions across the city’s West, East and Central Wards, ensuring residents and community groups in all areas have an opportunity to learn more about the handbook.

The information sessions will:
• Introduce the Residents’ Association Handbook and its key resources
• Explain how residents’ associations can engage with the Council
• Provide guidance on best practice and available supports
• Offer an opportunity for networking and discussion

Tidy towns signs whisper ,what campaign posters shout"

Thanks to everyone for the fantastic community effort over the last number of months in helping make our community cleaner and greener 🌱 All the local residents, Galway city Council environment, parks, and litter management and cllr Alan cheevers in helping us set up the Ballybane tidy towns group .

Further works to commence on our Sensory garden in the coming weeks and also other developments on litter management in the community .
