Any residents group or estates in city east interested in setting up a residents association are welcome to call into the Ballybane community hub on 🗓Tuesday 26th May at🕡 6pm to meet Oliver from Galway city Council,
Oliver will guide you on how to get set up and process the paperwork.
Tea/coffee and light refreshments available all welcome. ☕️🍪
Galway City Council is pleased to announce the launch of its new Residents’ Association Handbook, a practical guide designed to support and strengthen new and existing residents’ associations across the city.
To accompany the launch, Galway City Council will host a series of in-person information sessions across the city’s West, East and Central Wards, ensuring residents and community groups in all areas have an opportunity to learn more about the handbook.
The information sessions will:
• Introduce the Residents’ Association Handbook and its key resources
• Explain how residents’ associations can engage with the Council
• Provide guidance on best practice and available supports
• Offer an opportunity for networking and discussion

• West Ward: Wednesday 27 May at 6pm , Knocknacarra Community Centre, H91 R6PW
• Central Ward: Thursday 28 May at 6.30pm , The Harbour Hotel Galway, H91 E9PR
