HearMe is a specialist training programme which aims to create awareness around communication difficulties and educate service industry staff in how to effectively communicate with people with communication difficulties. t differences in how customers communicate. This training equips participants with the tools and strategies to communicate more effectively with people with communication difficulties and therefore create inclusive, accessible and communication friendly environments which support people of all abilities. Communication is a basic human right however unfortunately this can often be taken for granted. Communication difficulties can be a hidden and misunderstood disability. Thus, service industry staff can often struggle to identify these difficulties and support communication with these people.
