Remember ‘Touching the Void’? And remember the massive decision that had to be made by Simon Yeats relating to cutting the rope his climbing partner was hanging onto way down in a crevasse? The Kinvara Adventure Talks team (Donal and Karen 🤗) are heading to hear the details from Simon Yeats himself in Claremorris Townhall theatre tonight. Hopefully see you there 👍🚀

What a brilliant night we had at the screening of ‘Darkest Ocean’ in Tullys. Really positive feedback about the really authentic and insightful documentary about Tom Waddington’s solo crossing of the North Atlantic. It also delved into managing mental health. For this reason our donations (320 Euro) from the night are going to Claddagh Watch Patrol.

Kinvara Adventure Talks was so privileged to be the first place to share the pre cast screening version of the documentary before it gets out to film festivals.

If any Irish film festival is interested in showing the doc get in touch and we can put you in direct contact with documentary team or contact directly.

See you for more Kinvara Adventure Talks in November!

Thanks to Maeve Kelly, John Sweeney and Ger Ryan for the photos 😎
