The Order of Malta Ireland is part of an International Organisation working in over 120 countries, with a heritage stretching all the way back to the Knights Hospitallers who were brought to Ireland in 1174 whose mission was to 'serve the sick and the poor'. In 1934 the Irish Association or the Order of Malta Ireland was established and four years later in Galway in 1938, we launched the first Ord

What an amazing day for National Services Day - Ireland in Galway.
Was fantastic to have all the men and women of the Emergency and Voluntary Services proudly march through the streets of Galway. Here is just a snippet of what happened today.. more photos and videos in the next few days. Lynsey and Mike attended the the Regional Launch for National Services Day - Ireland along with other Organisations.
Thank you to Deputy Mayor Cllr Alan Cheevers for attending also.
