Members of the International Cheer Union, the European Cheer Union and the Federation of Irish Sports. The CSI is governed by board members from across the country who give up their time to help develop the sport of cheerleading.

CheerSport Ireland would like to congratulate Joan Heapes on receiving the Connect Kerry Unsung Hero Award at the 10th annual Connect Kerry Women in Business Awards. Joan acts as our National Welfare officer for CSI, Team Ireland Welfare officer and CSI Director. Her dedication to athlete welfare, safety, and support is at the heart of our cheer community, and this recognition is so well deserved.

We also want to celebrate Hayley Murphy, owner of Legacy Elite, who received the Connect Kerry Champion of Diversity & Inclusion Award. Hayley’s passion for creating an inclusive, empowering environment for athletes continues to make a huge impact on cheerleading in Kerry and across Ireland.

Cheer Sport Ireland was delighted to attend the Federation of Irish Sport AGM, joining fellow National Governing Bodies and sporting organisations from across the country.

The AGM provided an excellent opportunity to connect with leaders from across the sporting sector and discuss the continued development, growth, and promotion of sport throughout Ireland.

The application portal for clubs and coaches to be a part of Team Ireland for the 2027 season have officially been extended until Friday May 15th at noon ⏰

We are currently seeking:
✨ Head Coach – Open All Girl Elite
✨ Assistant Coaches – Open, Junior & Youth
✨ Junior Club Teams – Advanced or Elite
✨ Youth Clubs Teams – Median or Advanced
