🌍 On Sunday 14 June, the station platform will transform into a welcoming shared table where people from all backgrounds can come together to celebrate the many cultures that make our community so unique.

Bring along a favourite homemade dish from your own tradition, taste foods from around the world, meet new people, share stories and enjoy a relaxed and friendly atmosphere in one of Galway’s most historic settings 🚂🌿

Whether you come with family, friends, neighbours, or on your own — everyone is warmly welcome.

A huge thank you to everyone who came along and helped Ballyglunin market such a wonderful success. From our amazing traders to all the visitors who stopped by to support local businesses — we truly appreciate it.

The atmosphere at Ballyglunin Station was brilliant, filled with community spirit, creativity, music and plenty of smiles throughout the day 🚂🌿

It was wonderful to see families enjoying the face painting, printmaking activities, delicious treats and all the fantastic local stalls on offer.

We are excited to welcome you back to Ballyglunin Station this Saturday, 30th May from 10:00am to 2:00pm for a fantastic community market full of local talent, creativity and family fun!

Browse a wonderful range of stalls including homemade bakes, crafts, artwork, handmade gifts and unique local produce.

Enjoy face painting, an ice cream truck and a free drop-in printmaking activity for all ages — helping to create bunting and table textiles for the Shared Table community project.

🚴‍♀️✨ Bike Week 2026 ✨🚴‍♂️

Thanks to the Bike Week Grant, we were delighted to host Crumlin National School at Ballyglunin Station during this year’s Bike Week celebrations.

It was fantastic to see the students enjoying cycling activities, building confidence on their bikes and having fun together in such a positive atmosphere.

A special thank you to Alan Regan and An Garda Síochána for delivering an excellent bike safety talk to the children and helping promote safe cycling habits.

A huge thank you to everyone involved for making the day such a success 💛

We’ve had an amazing response and all places are now fully booked, so unfortunately we can’t take any more bookings at this time.
