I Started this page on the 16th of January 2016, after someone went missing in the river Corrib in Galway. I as a 14 year old felt enough was enough and that things needed to be put in place to stop people from losing their lives in our river which has been the life line for galway since its existence. In other Cities right across the world there are waterways patrols and safety barriers around the canals and river ways of all cities. Galway in particular was lacking in some of the key safety features around our waterways. low canal barriers, no protection at the Spanish arch which a main drinking spot when big events happen in galway.
I Havent been able to achieve alot but the number of deaths has lowered since i raised my voice on this issue
