Galway Bay Rugby Club Galway Bay Rugby Club or Na Bairneachaí was established in 2007 to bring Rugby to Galway City

The club first registration took place during the Rugby world cup and resulted in 40 players at ages from U9s to U12s. In 2013 the club has a player base of well over 100 at levels U8 to U12. The Club Jersey was launched on Saturday the 17th of November with Eric Elwood, Brett Wilkinson and Conor O Loughlin handing out jerseys and staying for Photographs.

Great opening morning for Mini Rugby in McGrath’s Field! 🏉

Lots of smiles on faces, bodies in motion and plenty of fun. A great way to kick off the new season.

And most importantly… a convincing 2–0 win for the kids over the parents in the tug of war! 😂💪
