We talk to ourselves more than anyone else in this world and often times we aren’t supporting ourselves as we could….Humans are meaning attaching machines, always putting meaning to things that happen us throughout our days. -
It’s important to press pause sometimes, take stock of the stories you’re telling yourself and make sure you those stories are supporting you. If they aren’t you’ve got to re-frame and find a more supportive voice, talking to yourself rather than listening.

5 tips for dealing with nerves in the gym courtesy of

1️⃣ Make a plan
2️⃣ Start small
3️⃣ Go at off peak times (my personal favourite)
4️⃣ Have a gym buddy
5️⃣ Bring headphones

And remember no one is judging or watching you. Everyone is there for the same reason and probably feels the exact same way you do

Our free workshop next Tuesday is suitable for beginners to competitive lifters. We'll have a squat stand, barbells, etc. to help teach proper technique and a Q&A afterwards 😀
