Hello All,
A couple of residents asked me to enquire about the resurfacing of the main road into town. I spoke to Cllr Josie Forde about resurfacing the main Menlo road, from the crossroads over. She contacted an engineer, who in turn called Frank Fahy to arrange a visit to assess what works are needed.
The engineer visited Menlo with Frank within the last two weeks and confirmed that the road will be looked at in 2027.
I want to thank Cllr Forde
Cllr. Josie Forde for acting so quickly on this request. I'll keep you all posted on any updates I hear.
Cllr Forde has also asked that the cutting of hedges and bushes around the area be put on the schedule so you should see this being carried out soon.
Please feel free to reach out to me on anything going forward.
Thanks
Fiona

☕ Come Join Us for a Cuppa! 🍰
Hello Everyone,
The Menlo Residents Association would love to invite all residents of the local area up to the Áras on the first Sunday of every month from 12pm – 1pm for a cup of tea or coffee 💛
Life is busy for all of us, and these days many of us only see our neighbours in passing, with a quick wave from the car. We thought it would be lovely to have a more relaxed way of catching up and also getting to know some of the newer residents.
There's no pressure at all to attend, and no need to make it every month. Just pop in whenever you can, even if it's only now and again. Everyone is welcome, and we'd love to see you there! 😊

October meet up will be this coming Sunday 11th October
We hope to see you soon!
