Today, in day care, we welcomed the newest Fethard Celebrity, Jess, who recently won 2 gold medals and 1 silver at the Special Olympics for swimming. 🥳🥳
We are all immensely proud of you, Jess, none more so than your amazing Aunty Ann-Marie, who works here as part of the CE scheme team. Thanks for visiting us, we are delighted you liked your treats. 🏅🏅🏅

Today, the Thursday Group attended the Age Friendly Expo in Thurles. It was wonderful to meet John Lonergan, Ambassador of Tipperary Age Friendly at the event. Well done to organisers. We really enjoyed all the information stands, guest speakers, music and refreshments.

We had a lovely visit from our local Community Gardai. It's always great to see Garda Fiona Gleeson and Garda Marie Casey. Community Engagement like this gives the day care members a real sense of belonging and safety within their community. Thanks ladies 🤗

This morning, we had a lovely visit from Kathleen on behalf of Fethard Bridge Club with a donation to our service of €577.50.

Huge thanks to William O Connor, HSE Safeguarding Social Worker for spending time with us today. He gave a very informative talk, brought the "Think Ahead" Planning Packs, and facilitated one to one supports.
