The aim of the Fermoy Camera Club is to provide a friendly and supportive forum for member’s interests in photography, whether they are beginners or experienced. The clubs ethos is all about having fun with photography and to provide an association of like minded people to enjoy, share and advance our photographic skills, to encourage photography within the community and to use photography to the

benefit of the community by providing pictorial records of the community, its people and events and its environs. To enjoy our club, all you need is an appreciation of photography and enthusiastic approach to participation at meetings and events. We meet twice a month and have a competition each month based on a specific theme. We also have a photographer of the year leader-board and many other events and outings etc.

A wonderful presentation by Denis O' Reilly Photography last night . Members were inspired and entertained by his approach to his recent Fellowship Panel from the Irish Photographic Federation ,based on still life images inspired by the old Dutch Masters Paintings / Artists . A great variety of images on show Denis spoke of how he approached lighting , setting up objects &subjects to arrive at a purposeful arrangement of objects pleasing to the eye . Congratulations again Denis O Reilly on your Fellowship award ,well deserved . We were also treated to some images from his Floral photography ,a keen gardener Denis shared dreamy dahlias, amazing anemones & fabulous fuschias from his own cottage garden . Thank you Denis from all in Fermoy Camera Club - FCC we really enjoyed your visit . Thanks to everyone who attended last night,visitors from other camera clubs bakers ,photographers ,hosts & hostesses. Thanks to the team at Fermoy Community Youth Centre once again for the help .
