We’re sorry, but we are no longer able to accept requests to help rehome privately owned animals. Too often, the information we’ve been given about an animal’s health, behaviour or history hasn’t been complete, and that puts both the animal and potential adopters at risk. This decision lets us focus our resources on the animals already in our care.

We will still consider genuine emergencies, such as the sudden death or hospitalisation of an owner, or an animal at immediate risk of harm.

Thank you for understanding.

On November 14th, I’m running a half marathon to raise funds for two amazing animal rescues—Kildare Animal Foundation and South East Animal Rescue—that do incredible work putting animal welfare first. They rely heavily on donations to cover vet bills, medications, food, and shelter upkeep.

Every euro raised will be split equally between both rescues, and I’ll share proof of the transfers so you can see exactly where your support goes. Any donation, no matter how small, makes a big difference for animals in need.

Please consider sharing this post to help spread the word—your support means the world! Thank you so much for your kindness and help in keeping these rescues going. 🐾💙
