A 40-year-old woman and a teenage girl have both been charged with the murder of Limerick woman Scarlett Faulkner. It comes with great relief for the faulkner family who have come out strongly demanding justice for their beloved Scarlet Faulkner in recent months. Our thoughts and prayers continue to be with the Faulkner family. 🙏💚

We were delighted to welcome Clare Rose Méabh Holland to our offices yesterday. We were the charity partner for the Clare Rose Selection night in April. It was great to talk to Méabh about our work supporting women and children across the county and hear all about her upcoming Rose tour.

Méabh is an an excellent ambassador for Clare and we wish her the very best of luck when she gets to Tralee. 🌹

We enjoyed a great morning in Loch Cutra yesterday for the 8k Run for Ashling event that was kindly organised by local man Anthony Walsh. The sun was shining and spirits were high. After the walk, we enjoyed an al fresco breakfast in the sun which was a lovely ending to a very enjoyable morning.

We really appreciate Anthony's effort coordinating this fundraiser. The total amount raised which was €2710 will be divided between our service and The Ashling Murphy Memorial Fund

We look forward to returning again next year ✨

8 women. 8 lives. 8 families forever changed.

Behind every name is a woman who was loved. A daughter. A mother. A sister. A friend. A colleague. Today, we remember the women whose lives have been lost to violence this year. Each name represents a life that mattered. Their absence is felt deeply by those who loved them, and our thoughts are with their families, friends and communities.

Violence against women is an epidemic. Behind every statistic is a person, a family forever changed, and a community left grieving. These deaths remind us that there is still so much work to do to prevent violence, support those experiencing abuse, and challenge the attitudes and behaviours that allow it to continue.
