Inisowiacy Polish Folk Group Polish Folk Group in Ireland Inisowiacy promotes Polish culture and heritage primarily through traditional dance, music and costume.

We often combine these elements along with play-acting, storytelling, natural history, cuisine and crafts. We view culture as way to connect with all the community, not just the Polish diaspora, in Ennis and Clare, as well as nearby counties and Polish organisations abroad. At events, we often demonstrate the similarities between Irish and Polish folk tradition and the beauty of their individual uniqueness.

One of our audience workshops features Trójkrakowiak, a regional variant of the Krakowiak, one of Poland’s five national dances.

As a Polish folk group based in Ireland, we love sharing Polish traditional music and dance with our community. These dances were created to bring people together, and that’s exactly what we aim to do through our workshops – have fun, learn something new, and celebrate Polish culture together.

This is the next edition of the festival, and we are excited to be part of it.
It feels like only yesterday that we first danced in Cobh. Since then, both our group and the festival itself have transformed and evolved. The venue has changed, the name has changed, but the people behind it continue to welcome everyone with kindness and open hearts.

A huge thank you 🙏 to Kasia and Peter for all the voluntary work and dedication you put into this event. Year after year, you continue to bring more people together and spread positivity through the community. We feel truly privileged to witness these changes and to be part of this journey.
