Some of our Cork residents took part in Try Cycling as part of Bike Week, in association with Cork Sports Partnership and with the brilliant support of Ruth from Wild Atlantic Sports Kinsale.

🎓 A Milestone to Celebrate 🎉

Two remarkable young women, Bronagh and Emma, have achieved something truly special. After a year of dedication and hard work, both have graduated from college — one earning her qualification in hairdressing, the other in art. ✂️🎨

Living with Prader-Willi syndrome hasn't held them back. With the support of their residential support team, they've attended classes, completed coursework, and pushed through challenges to reach the finish line. 💪

Their achievement is a testament to what's possible with determination, the right support, and the belief that everyone deserves the chance to learn and grow. 🌟

Congratulations to both graduates — this is just the beginning! 👏🎓

The team at our Castlebar Day Service (individuals supported and staff together) recently completed the Mayo Women's Mini Marathon in aid of Cancer Fund for Children, a charity that supports children diagnosed with cancer.

But they didn't stop there.

Following the marathon, the group brought their fundraising into the heart of Castlebar holding a bucket collection at their local SuperValu, with so many individuals and team members giving their time on the day to make it happen.

The generosity of the local community was something else entirely. €640 raised in a single day. Donations still coming in!

To date, the group has raised €1,085, all of it going directly toward Cancer Fund for Children and their new respite service Daisy Lodge, opening in 2027.

We are so proud of every single person who walked, collected, and gave their time to make this happen. And we are grateful every day for the community we get to be a part of here in Castlebar. 👏🥰

🌟 We were finalists at the Irish Healthcare Centre Awards 2026!

We are absolutely thrilled to have been named a finalist in the Healthcare Initiative – Community Care Services category and we couldn't be prouder of the team behind it. 🙌

The nomination recognised our Charity Ball and Debs Night at the Rose Hotel, Tralee a night of sparkle, smiles, and unforgettable moments for our service users, while raising over €12,000 for two Kerry schools. 💃🕺

Being recognised among some of the best in Irish healthcare means so much to us. It's a reflection of the incredible people we have at Resilience Healthcare who pour their heart into everything they do. ❤️

🎓 Celebrating the LEADx Class of 2026!

On May 28th, we had the absolute pleasure of celebrating 25 incredible team members graduating from our LEADx Management Development Programme and what a day it was.

LEADx is something we're genuinely proud of here at Resilience Healthcare. It's our own in-house programme, backed by the Healthcare Management Institute of Ireland (HMI), offering a QQI Level 6 Management Certification, but more than the qualification, it's about watching people grow in confidence, capability, and belief in themselves.

We even had a magician on the day because honestly, watching this group transform over the course of the programme? That's the real magic. ✨

With the majority of our internal promotions coming from LEADx graduates, the results speak for themselves. These are the people shaping the future of Resilience Healthcare and we couldn't be more excited to see where they go next.
