The free shuttle bus service to the Burren National Park returns today for the summer season. From May to the end of September, the service will operate from the Burren National Park Information Point in Corofin to the trailhead at Gortlecka Cross near Kilnaboy in the National Park. This service will link up with other routes on the Burren and Cliffs Explorer shuttle service which start on 21st May. This service provides a convenient and more sustainable travel option to visitors wishing to explore the scenic way-marked walking trails found within the park, where parking is limited. There is no need to book a seat on the bus but operates on a first come, first served basis. The bus runs 13 times a day, seven days a week, with the first bus leaving Corofin at 9.30am and the last bus returning from the park at 5.15pm.
