Nothing beats getting out with the lads 💪
Handball, golf, whatever it is — moving your body does wonders for your head as well as your fitness. Sweating it out, having a laugh, and knowing the lads have your back builds real bonds.
Man-to-man support hits different. No pressure, just mates showing up for each other. It builds confidence, lifts morale, and makes the load feel lighter. That’s how friendships get stronger.
Look after yourself and look after each other. Who’s up for the next one just pop me a message the whole town has my number😂 all is welcome to the men's group we do something to suit everyone 🏌️‍♂️🤾

💃✨ Women’s Zumba – Women’s Wellness Programme ✨💃

Get ready to dance, move and have some fun! 💃🎶

Our Women’s Group with Clare Travellers CDP is delighted to be running 5 weeks of Zumba in Cloughleigh Community Centre, Ennis, starting Thursday 3rd September. 🌸

The classes will be led by Michelle Naughton and are a great way to get active, have fun and feel good. 💪😊

Dancing and moving your body can help to:
❤️ Lift your mood and make you feel happier
🌟 Build confidence and self-esteem
💃 Improve fitness and energy
🤗 Get out, meet others and have a laugh
🌿 Support our mental health and wellbeing

Most importantly, it’s about having fun, getting together and connecting with each other. We know that connection is so important for our mental health and wellbeing. ❤️

This programme is part of our Women’s Wellness Programme, in collaboration with the Healthy Clare Fund, supporting healthy and positive ways for women in our community to look after their health and wellbeing. 🌿

🌸 Women’s Group Breakfast Morning 🌸

Yesterday, Thursday 27th August, our Women’s Group came together for a lovely breakfast morning in The Sherwood, Ennis. ☕🥐💕

It was a beautiful opportunity to reconnect, catch up after the summer, share a few laughs and, most importantly, support and encourage one another. 🤗❤️

As families prepare for the children heading back to school, this time of year can bring lots of change and transition. It was lovely to have a space where the women could come together, check in with each other and share that sense of community and support. 🌿✨

A big thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make it such a warm and enjoyable morning. 💐

Here’s to connection, friendship, community and supporting each other through every season. ❤️

🏠 IMPORTANT: Social Housing Needs Assessment 2026 🏠

We are sharing this important information from Clare County Council.

If you are a Traveller living in County Clare and you need social housing, it is really important to make sure you are on the housing list and that you stay on it if you still need a home. ❤️

Clare County Council has started its 2026 Social Housing Needs Assessment. If you have already been approved for social housing support, the Council is contacting households to check that they still need this support.

📌 If you receive an assessment form, you must complete it and return it by Friday, 11th September 2026.

If you are unsure about the form or need support with your housing application, Clare Travellers CDP can help. 🤝 We are here to support members of the Traveller community with their housing needs.

Please don’t leave it until the last minute — if you need help, get in touch with us. 🌿

🏠 Clare County Council has commenced the Summary of Social Housing Needs Assessment for 2026.

The Council is contacting households who have been approved for social housing support to confirm that they still require this support. Each applicant must complete the assessment form that has issued and return it by Friday, September 11, 2026.

Households who are approved for a social housing transfer and HAP and RAS tenants are not included in this assessment. Households assessed as part of SSHA 2025 will not be reviewed this year.

If an applicant no longer requires social housing support or is no longer eligible, their file will be closed. For queries, contact [email protected]

Maja is a Community Development Worker who has been a huge part of Clare Travellers CDP from the very beginning. She brings so much enthusiasm, passion and care to her work, and we are delighted to have her back supporting the Traveller community in County Clare. 🤝💕
