Edenderry to Italy! 🇮🇪🇮🇹

From 19th to the 29th of October, five young musicians from Edenderry will be heading to Capranica, Italy, alongside our Creative Places Co-ordinator for the Street Signs Music Exchange!

Supported by Erasmus+, the exchange will bring young people together from across Europe to share music, exchange ideas, learn new skills and experience different cultures.

The group will explore new ways of making music, including improvisation and collaborative music-making, while building friendships and connections with young people from Spain, Italy, Romania, Sweden and Portugal.

We’re excited to see what they discover, create and bring home from this fantastic opportunity! Best of luck to Luke, Dylan, Caroline, Ross and Adam!

Join us on the 10th and 17th of October for a special series of poetry workshops with Geraldine O'Neill as part of our European presidency project An Drochaid – Bridging Words.

An Drochaid, meaning “The Bridge”, serves as both a literal and metaphorical bridge, connecting the Midlands of Ireland with continental Europe through creativity, conversation and shared experiences.

These friendly, creative workshops are a chance to explore poetry, place, connection and what it means to build bridges between communities and cultures.

-No previous experience of poetry or writing is needed.
-Everyone is welcome.
-Come along, have a go, and share your ideas.

Whether you already love writing or have never written a poem before, we’d love to have you there!

Email [email protected] to book your place.
