🚗🐴 Sharing the Road with Horses – Please Drive Carefully! 🐴🚗
To our wonderful local community – as part of our horse and gypsy wagon experience, you might see us out and about on country roads. We love bringing a bit of old-world charm to the area, but we need your help to keep everyone safe.
💡 Here’s how you can pass a horse safely:
🔹 Slow down well before you reach the horse and rider.
🔹 Give plenty of space – if it’s safe, move fully into the opposite lane.
🔹 Pass wide and slow – think crawling pace.
🔹 No revving or sudden moves – loud noises can spook horses.
🔹 Wait for a clear stretch of road – don’t rush to overtake on bends or hills.
🔹 Be patient – we’ll always find a safe spot to let you by when we can.
Our horses are calm and trained, but they’re still animals with minds of their own. A little care goes a long way.
