Hello everyone,
As we close the gates on another Bóthar to Togher and Togher Sports 2026, we would like to sincerely thank everyone who supported us over the weekend.
We hope you all had a fantastic time, young and old, enjoying the dancing each night and the sports events on Sunday. There was nothing better than seeing the smiles on everyone’s faces throughout the weekend, helped by some glorious weather and a great community atmosphere.
A special congratulations to Liv O’Mahoney from Kilnadur NS, winner of our art competition to design our new logo and a big thank you to all the children from our three national schools who took part with your wonderful contributions.
To our sponsors, thank you once again for your incredible generosity and continued support. Your commitment is a reflection of the support you receive from the community throughout the year, and we truly appreciate it.
To our Togher Sports team, who turn up year after year to set up, run the sideshows, races, raffle and refreshments, and take care of whatever else is needed at short notice — thank you. Your willingness to get involved is what makes the day happen.
For Bóthar to Togher, a huge thank you to our parking and traffic teams, bar staff, field team and marquee crew. Many of you also give your time to other community events and receive help in return, and that spirit of volunteering is so important in keeping our community events strong and successful.
Thank you also to all our vendors and suppliers who provided the marquee, music from near and far , the bar and drinks, food, electrics and power generation, barriers, seating and sanitation. Your contribution helped make the weekend the success it was.
Finally, to our Togher Sports Committee, who have worked tirelessly since Togher Sports 2025 to make this year’s festival such a success — thank you. The countless hours, phone calls, meetings and personal time you have given are a tremendous commitment. Your dedication is the backbone of this event and the reason we continue to come together as a team year after year.
