All Roads Lead to Dublin for Carriglea! 🏅
There’s great excitement around Carriglea this week as 50 of our athletes and staff get ready to travel to Dublin on Thursday, June 18th for the Special Olympics Ireland National Games!
This fantastic four-day event will bring together athletes from all over the country to compete, connect, and celebrate everything that makes sport so special.
Our team will be taking part in a wide range of sports including swimming, bowling, athletics, basketball, soccer, and motor activities — all after months of training, teamwork, and dedication.
We couldn’t be prouder of the effort that has gone into getting here.
The National Games are about so much more than competition. They’re about friendships, confidence, inclusion, and enjoying every moment — and we know our athletes will do Carriglea proud in every way.
A huge thank you to all the coaches, staff, volunteers and fundraising groups who supported this journey behind the scenes — we couldn’t do it without you.
We’re wishing our entire team a safe trip, the very best of luck, and an unforgettable experience. No matter the results, you are all already winners in our eyes 💙
