🚜🐴 Farming in Bellurgan, 1938! 🚂

A wonderful glimpse into our farming heritage, with a horse-drawn harrow working the land as a steam train approaches Bellurgan Halt.

How times have changed! At Dundalk Show, we're proud to celebrate our agricultural roots. 🌾

💬 Does anyone remember farming with horses?

From all of us at Dundalk Show, we would like to wish the competitors, organisers and volunteers every success for this year's All-Ireland Poc Fada Final on Monday, 3 August at Annaverna Mountain.

If you're looking to get outdoors, enjoy some fresh air and experience one of County Louth's most iconic sporting events, why not make the trip to the Cooley Mountains? The walk up the mountain is well worth it, with breathtaking views and a fantastic atmosphere.

A special thank you to the Poc Fada Committee and the dedicated volunteers from Louth Civil Defence Mountain Rescue, who will be on hand throughout the day to assist spectators and help ensure the event runs safely.

Have a fantastic day, and best of luck to everyone taking part!
