Making Connections befriending service was established in 2009 and offers support in the form of company and friendship in the Dunlaoghaire Rathdown area. A growing team of young volunteers visits older people in their own homes to provide friendship and social support, thus helping to combat loneliness by providing companionship and a listening ear.
