Since forming in 2010, members of the Hibernian Writers' Group have published several poetry collections and had poems and criticism published in journals in Ireland and internationally. Their work has been shortlisted for- and won- numerous awards, including the Boyle Poetry Competition, the Bridport and Forward Prizes, the Fool for Poetry Chapbook Competition, the Francis Ledwidge Award, the Gre
gory O’Donoghue International Poetry Prize, Hennessy Awards, Listowel Writers’ Week Poetry Collection Prize and Prize for a Single Poem, Magma Editors’ Prize, Poetry London Competition, Pushcart Prize, Strokestown International Poetry Prize, the Trócaire and Poetry Ireland Poetry Competition, the Patrick Kavanagh Poetry Award and the Ware Sonnet Prize. Membership to Hibernian Writers group is currently closed.
