Massive congrats to our Cub Section Leader ben on completing his Wood Badge journey! He has been awarded his Wood Beads - a huge achievement! The Wood Badge is an internationally recognised qualification, awarded to scouters who complete their training, and we're super proud of him!!🧡🖤

We would like to share that our Cub section Leader Ben Lui has completed his leadership training and obtained his wood beads. This is a high honour amount scouts. We carry our beads with pride and with the hope to pass on knowledge to the next generation of scouts.
We as a unit are very proud of Ben and his achievement.

A big BRAVO to Ben.

Congratulations to the Dublin Province Scouters who were presented with their Woodbadge this afternoon. Their Scout Groups included Donore Avenue, Mount Argus, Inchicore / Bluebell, Chapelizod, Oldbawn, Dalkey, Finglas East, Kiltiernan and Dundrum. Also a big THANKS to the Dublin trainers who brought them along the final leg of their journey.

Our scouts section has finished up for the year. We ended with review of the year and handed out awards for Most Improved, Scouting Spirit, and Scout of the Year.

The annual summer camp is wrapped up! The Cubs had an amazing weekend at IOAC - complete with a refreshing swim in the lake when their kayaks tipped over, and a thrilling water balloon fight after they tried to get some revenge on the leaders. Even though it poured on our last day, the kids stayed in great spirits the whole time.

This camp also marked the end of an era for some of our older Cubs who’ll be moving up to Scouts in September. Despite the goodbyes, they all had a blast. We can’t wait to welcome everyone back in September. ⚜️
