We are a dance community based in Dublin, Ireland specialising in Brazilian Zouk. We offer regular classes on Brazilian Zouk (Rio-style), as well as Zouk Dance Socials. Our vision is to establish a strong inclusive Brazilian Zouk dance community so that everyone has the opportunity to continue developing their own dance. Classes are taught by Mona Byrne & Wilson Fonseca. Zouk Ireland Família also

organises exclusive Brazilian Zouk workshops & parties featuring International renowned Brazilian Zouk artists such as Carlos & Fernanda da Silva, Xandy Liberato, Eglantine Oliveira, Adilio Porto, Alisson Sandi, William Teixiera and Paloma Alves. We are committed to sharing our dance knowledge with you in a fun, friendly and inclusive environment. We are waiting to welcome YOU!

Exploring axis, weight sharing, connection and counterbalances.

Exploring head movements, toalha, flow and body mechanics.

They’ll be teaching 2 unique workshops designed to build your knowledge, improve your technique, and give you new tools for your dancing! 🔥

Both workshops are 1.5 hours long and progressive, so you’ll have plenty of time to explore and develop the concepts throughout the class.

Imaan Taghavi is an internationally recognized partner dance instructor, choreographer, director, and pioneer based in Oakland, California. He is highly regarded for his extensive knowledge and expertise across multiple partner dance styles, including Zouk, Salsa, Bachata, Kizomba, and West Coast Swing.
