Day 1 Highlights — ICNA Convention Baltimore/Washington DC, USA 🇺🇸
Alhamdulillah, the Irish Muslim Circle delegation had an inspiring and productive first day at the ongoing ICNA Convention in Baltimore/Washington DC.
The atmosphere throughout the convention has been energetic, diverse, and deeply motivating, bringing together thousands of Muslims along with scholars, community leaders, social media activists, youth mentors, and representatives of Muslim organizations from across Europe, Australia, Africa, the Middle East, and North America.
Today’s sessions covered a wide range of important and timely topics including strengthening Muslim identity, challenges facing Muslim youth, family and community development, dawah in the digital age, leadership, social engagement, and the growing role of technology and media in shaping the future of Muslim communities.
The delegation also had the opportunity to network and exchange ideas with global Islamic organizations, content creators, and activists who are working tirelessly to serve the Ummah through education, outreach, humanitarian work, and community development.
The convention exhibitions, community booths, and interactive sessions showcased the scale of Muslim initiatives taking place around the world and highlighted the importance of collaboration and unity across communities and generations.
Looking forward to more beneficial sessions and engagements over the coming days, InshaAllah.
