Yoga at St Andrew's with Tina This Week 🧘✨

When we feel grounded, we feel present in our bodies and minds. We feel connected with the earth, with time and with whatever place we find ourselves in. It is easier to stay focused and connected to what we are doing. It can feel easier to deal with any adversity that may cross our paths. It might feel like we can better cope with busy times.

In Yoga we focus on our breath and with each part of our body as it moves. This connection to our body and our breath supports us to feel grounded.

At this time of year, when everything around us is quickening and growing and the longer days invite more activity, it is especially important to stay grounded.

This workshop focuses on creating interactive and immersive moments, asking how we include audiences, what might alienate them, and what creates barriers to engagement. Participants will devise short scenes responding to identity, working as young people aged 18–30. They will explore how performance shifts across different spaces, how to design low-stakes interaction, and how to foster a sense of community within performance. The workshop also considers accessibility, including ways to involve audience members who may be hesitant to participate.

Led by Caoimhe O’Farrell of LEGROOM Collective, whose immersive work responds to the issues shaping their generation, Wiggle Room brings together young people who are involved in, or curious about, making theatre.
