Intercultural Youth Society

Intercultural Youth Society The aim of the IYS is to provide a friendly, open-minded and racism free zone where young people from different cultural backgrounds can come together.

The Africa Centre is currently in the process of establishing an Intercultural Youth Society for all young people between the ages of 12 and 35. The aim of this youth society will be to provide a friendly, open-minded and racism free zone where young people from different cultural backgrounds can share, appreciate, teach and learn different aspects of one another’s cultures. To that purpose we are

going to have a discussion session about the African culture in early June and we will officially launch the IYS with a talent show on the 13th of July. If you are between 12 and 35, feel free to join the IYS group, suggest it to your friends or share it with them. The Africa Centre is really excited about this new project and the fact that it is going to benefit the youth of Ireland!! Please do not hesitate to submit any queries or suggestion!

Representation is more than visibility, it’s empowerment.
