We are back!! And we could do with a little bit more help ✨

After the brilliant team effort in 2025 — we did 709 shoeboxes, that’s 709 children we reached in our very first year!!

Along the way there were many laughs, lots of tea, but most of all a real sense of joy when getting together to collect and sort these little boxes of kindness that you all put together 🙏

As a volunteer myself, I can’t explain how worthwhile it feels when all those shoeboxes are counted and loaded onto the lorry to make their way to children in need 🌍

We hope to reach even more children this year, and to do so we would need to add to our lovely team of volunteers 🤗

You don’t have to take on a huge job. There are lots of little ways to help, and many hands really do make light work! 🙌

…and plenty more!

We’re having a Zoom meeting to get things started, so if you’d like to find out what it’s all about, come along - no commitment, just come and hear what’s involved.

✨ Wee Buddies with big hearts ✨

We want to give a massive thank you to everyone at Buddies Childtime for their incredible generosity and enthusiasm in filling all these thoughtful shoeboxes ☺️

A special shout-out to our wonderful volunteerJilly, the staff and to the children’s families— who gave the children the support to put these together..Your kindness will travel far beyond your doorstep. 💛

🐰How special it is to see Team Hope’s Storybook Bunny’s Shoebox Journey being read at story time —what a magical way to bring the message to life!

We are also beyond grateful to Buddies owner/manager Emma McFadden for her hands-on involvement and her generous donation towards fillers and postage.

📸 CUTENESS OVERLOAD 📸
And just look at these photos—happy, joyful, and full of pride as they packed their boxes. It’s lovely to think that children in need, far, far away, will feel that same joy and wonder when they open them 🥲

If you’d like to make a shoebox like these wee superstars or take part in our fundraising raffle instead, send us a message 🫶🏻
