Our board of trustees recently celebrated two very special people - our former trustees, Edie Wynne and Pauline Doyle.

Everyone enjoyed a lovely lunch at Bijou Restaurant together to thank Edie and Pauline for their support and commitment over the years.

As a small token of our appreciation, they were presented with beautifully engraved wooden plaques created by social enterprise Cairde Enterprise.

Thank you Edie and Pauline, for your dedication and lasting contribution to TEC 💛

Today we said goodbye to Billy on his last day of work placement at Terenure Enterprise Centre 👏

Billy joined our maintenance team through WALK and Dublin South City Partnership, and from day one he’s been an absolute star. From washing windows and setting up rooms to helping with DIY projects around the building, Billy threw himself into every task with enthusiasm, dedication, and a fantastic attitude 💪✨

Billy, who is autistic, made a real impact during his time with us, and it’s been a pleasure having him as part of the team. We’re incredibly proud of everything he has achieved during his placement.

A huge thank you to Billy’s support workers at WALK and his Tús supervisor Angela McArthur, for all their encouragement and support throughout.

We wish Billy every success in the future and look forward to seeing all the amazing things he continues to achieve!

Happy Pride Month from TEC! 🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️

This June, and always, we’re proud to celebrate, support, and uplift the LGBTQ+ community 🌈

We kicked off Pride Month with some delicious Pride cupcakes from The Bakery by The Cupcake Bloke 🧁

This month we’re also celebrating LGBTQ+ voices, stories, and icons, honouring the trailblazers who continue to inspire change, courage, creativity, and visibility.

❤️ Support matters now more than ever. While progress has been made, recent years have shown why it’s still so important to stand together and create safe, inclusive spaces for everyone. TEC is proud to be a trans-inclusive and welcoming space, and we will always strive to be.

We’re also highlighting three incredible Irish LGBTQ+ organisations doing vital work in our communities.

🎨 What a wonderful success our Digital & Social Programme Community Art Exhibition was!

Thank you to everyone who joined us at Terenure Enterprise Centre to celebrate the incredible work created during our landscape painting course facilitated by artist and art educator koretskaya.art

Over the past number of weeks, participants explored advanced acrylic landscape painting techniques, building confidence in colour mixing, composition, layering, and artistic expression. The exhibition showcased a stunning collection of finished pieces, each capturing atmosphere, light, depth, and unique personal perspectives.

We are so proud of all the participants for their dedication, creativity, and achievements throughout the course.

A huge thank you to Yana, as well as to everyone who came along to support and celebrate the class's work!

If you're interested in taking part in our next painting course starting in Autumn, call 01-490 3237 or email [email protected] to register your interest.

TEC staff and trustees recently took part in a fantastic Impact Management Workshop at The Edge Dublin, facilitated by non-profit consultant Sandra Velthuis from Whitebarn Consulting through Carmichael Ireland.

A huge thank you to Sandra for guiding such an engaging and insightful discussion as we explored our impact and future direction together.

Great to have TEC staff Dave and Luca alongside trustees Adrienne and Liz, taking part in the session and contributing their perspectives and experience.

We're excited to build on the conversations and ideas that came from today’s workshop!

We’re proud to share that all recent sustainability upgrades at Terenure Enterprise Centre have now been successfully completed, thanks to €96,477 in funding from the Government of Ireland, with support from Dublin City Council through the Community Climate Action Programme.

With this support, we’ve installed a solar PV system, added a bicycle shelter and repair station, upgraded windows and attic insulation, and introduced energy-efficient lighting throughout the centre. These improvements are already helping us reduce our carbon footprint and operate more sustainably.

A sincere thank you to Dublin City Council and the Department of Climate, Energy and the Environment for supporting social enterprises like ours to take meaningful climate action.

We’re excited to continue building a greener future for our community.

A huge well done to a talented group of TU Dublin / OT Baile Átha Cliath Advertising & Marketing Communications students - Ariana, Jamie, Princess and Yelyzaveta!

Working from a detailed brief, the students set out to reimagine TEC's brand as part of our 2026–2030 strategic vision - developing a modern, community-focused identity that reflects TEC’s role as a leading social enterprise.

From in-depth research and concept development through to crafting a full visual identity, they delivered a thoughtful and well-rounded response to a real-world challenge.

After months of work spanning strategy, messaging, and visual direction, they had the opportunity to present their rebranding project directly to our Board of Trustees, a fantastic achievement and a milestone moment that brought their ideas to life!

We were incredibly impressed by their creativity, dedication, and the level of care they brought to every stage of the process. The energy in the room was undeniable, and it was clear how much effort and passion went into their work.

A special thank you to TU Dublin lecturer Vania Filipova for the continued support and guidance throughout the project. You should be so proud of your students!

We’ve no doubt these students are going to go far in their future careers - this is only the beginning 👏

What an incredible evening for Terenure! 🎉🧡

We’re so proud to celebrate Terenure officially being recognised as an Autism Friendly Town at the Asiam.ie Autism Friendly Towns Awards at City Hall, supported by PTSB, a truly meaningful milestone for our community.

A heartfelt thank you to the Autism Friendly Terenure committee, who worked tirelessly on a voluntary basis to make this happen, and to all the local champions who embraced the initiative with such enthusiasm and openness. Your support has been vital.

As one of the champions, Terenure Enterprise Centre is honoured to have played a role as part of the wider committee in helping bring this initiative to life. This achievement reflects the dedication, collaboration, and shared commitment across the entire community to creating a more inclusive and welcoming place for Autistic people and their families.

We’re also grateful to everyone across the wider Terenure community who contributed, as well as to Asiam.ie for their leadership and guidance in delivering this impactful programme nationwide.

This is a fantastic achievement for Terenure. We’re proud to be part of a community that continues to grow in understanding, inclusion, and support.

Well done to everyone involved 👏🧡
