The closing date for receipt of applications for the Fingal Shopfront Enhancement Scheme has now been extended until 12 noon on 23 October 2026.

Fingal County Council is seeking Expressions of Interest from qualifying premises located within Fingal.

Funding is available for works to upgrades such as Shopfront Repair/Brickwork Repair, External Painting, Signage Replacement.

Up to 90% of the projected cost of improvement works. A maximum ceiling of support of €2,000 per eligible property, is available, subject to terms and conditions.

Fingal County Council is calling on residents to have their say on the issues that matter most in their communities through a new Local Community Safety Partnership (LCSP) series of public engagement events.

Members of the public are invited to attend upcoming LCSP public meetings, where they will have an opportunity to discuss local issues, contribute ideas and engage directly with partnership members. We are absolutely thrilled, as today marked a very special day with the official opening of Naul Village Park.

Finally, 20 years since it was proposed as a community space and after a 10 year long campaign led by Naul Community Council, Naul has a village park and playground 🛝

Well done to all volunteers who gave their time and effort over the long campaign to ensure our voices were heard so that this fantastic amenity was delivered for the community in Naul 👏🏻

Thank you to all of our representatives, councillors, TDs, Senators, Ministers, The Seamus Ennis Arts Centre Management, Fingal County Council and local residents who engaged with the process and helped deliver this amenity for Naul.

We have some gaps so if anyone has tales they'd like to share from the graveyards of Abbotstown & Mulhuddart; Malahide & Portmarnock, Howth & Sutton, Donabate & Swords, either of the Cloghrans and not forgetting Naul...... .Or any of the graveyards of Fingal, please send in c.500 words and a picture of the person/gravestone (300dpi min.)-don't forget the women!
