What a fantastic day at the Templeogue Synge Street GFC Mini All-Ireland on Sunday 13th September! 🧡🏐

Autism Friendly Terenure Involve Autism were delighted to be there with our sensory tent, meeting so many neighbours, friends and local families.

A special shout-out to the TSS Superstars — one of our Autism Friendly Terenure Champions — who are going from strength to strength! 🤩🌟 well done to Ronan and all the coaches. It was also lovely to meet Denis Boland, Chair of TSS.

Huge thanks to Barbara, Deirdre from The Two Sisters, and our Involve Autism parents Brian, Yvonne and Edwina for all their support. 🧡 Lovely to catch up with Catherine Ardagh TD

Terenure is officially an Autism Friendly Town! 🧡

Last Tuesday evening, community leaders, Autism Friendly Terenure Champions, local public representatives plus members of the community gathered in Evergreen Hall to celebrate Terenure being officially recognised with the Autism Friendly Towns Award, proudly supported by PTSB.

Following the award presentation at Dublin City Hall in April, this celebration brought our community together to mark this significant milestone and recognise the incredible Autism Friendly Terenure Champions who have helped make our community more welcoming, understanding, and inclusive for autistic people and their families.

This achievement, spearheaded by , reflects the dedication, collaboration, and commitment of so many people across Terenure. Becoming one of just five towns nationwide this year to receive this recognition is something our entire community can be proud of.

A special thank you to everyone who has supported this journey, including local organisations, businesses, volunteers, public representatives, and our Champions. Together, we’re building a more inclusive Terenure for everyone. For those champions and invited guests who were unable to attend on the night thank you for your continued support.

What a night! was so honoured to receive the Autism Friendly Town Award at City Hall 🎉🧡🎉

This Autism Friendly Towns initiative, developed by and proudly supported by empowers communities across Ireland to become genuinely inclusive of Autistic people and their families.

A huge well done to our incredible committee who worked tirelessly in a voluntary capacity to make this happen. Thank you to our amazing champions for embracing the initiative with such enthusiasm. 🤩🤩

We are also so grateful to for their ongoing support, to and everyone in the wider community.

As always, thank you to and for leading the way 🧡 Thank you too to and Maeve from for all you support and to the adjudication panel thank you too. 🤩

It meant so much to have members of our committee to be there to share the moment with us. This is a huge achievement, and we’re absolutely delighted—but we’re only getting started!

We are delighted to announce office Dublin City Council as an Autism Friendly Terenure champion. Their ongoing support for the Autism Friendly Terenure initiative has been truly invaluable.

A heartfelt thank you to Scott Watson, Mary Lynch and the entire team — we are incredibly grateful for all your support.

Special thanks to Mary for her continued involvement on and support of the Autism Friendly Terenure committee, and to Aoife Connolly for her contributions during her time on the committee before moving to a new role.
