What a night! was so honoured to receive the Autism Friendly Town Award at City Hall 🎉🧡🎉

This Autism Friendly Towns initiative, developed by and proudly supported by empowers communities across Ireland to become genuinely inclusive of Autistic people and their families.

A huge well done to our incredible committee who worked tirelessly in a voluntary capacity to make this happen. Thank you to our amazing champions for embracing the initiative with such enthusiasm. 🤩🤩

We are also so grateful to for their ongoing support, to and everyone in the wider community.

As always, thank you to and for leading the way 🧡 Thank you too to and Maeve from for all you support and to the adjudication panel thank you too. 🤩

It meant so much to have members of our committee to be there to share the moment with us. This is a huge achievement, and we’re absolutely delighted—but we’re only getting started!

What a night! was so honoured to receive the Autism Friendly Town Award at City Hall.

This Autism Friendly initiative, developed by and proudly supported by PTSB, empowers communities across Ireland to become genuinely inclusive of Autistic people and their families.

A huge well done to our incredible committee who worked tirelessly to make this happen, and thank you to our amazing champions for embracing the initiative with such enthusiasm. We’re also so grateful to for their ongoing support.

It meant so much to have members of our Involve Autism Committee there to share the moment with us. This is a huge achievement, and we’re absolutely delighted—but we’re only getting started!

Delighted to announce .ie Terenure as one of our business champions, DNG have embraced the spirit of the Autism Friendly initiative. We are delighted to announce office Dublin City Council as an Autism Friendly Terenure champion. Their ongoing support for the Autism Friendly Terenure initiative has been truly invaluable.

A heartfelt thank you to Scott Watson, Mary Lynch and the entire team — we are incredibly grateful for all your support.

Special thanks to Mary for her continued involvement on and support of the Autism Friendly Terenure committee, and to Aoife Connolly for her contributions during her time on the committee before moving to a new role.

Announcing our next champion:

🧡Terenure Garda Station 🧡

work hard to maintain community safety, provide public assistance and build positive relationships. Terenure Garda Station has embraced the responsibility of being a champion through the introduction of a quiet hour during their Open Days, liasing with local schools that have autism classes, our new school and even participating in local fundraisers. They are also a great support to 🧡🧡.

Our committee has also attended meetings of a new Diversity Forum which interlinks a number of groups and communities. Terenure Garda Station has completed all steps to become a champion and we were delighted to facilitate in person training when it suited the station best 😊.

Big congratulations to Kimmage Manor Parish Church on becoming an

We’re so proud that some of our community are part of the Kimmage Manor Parish and attend services throughout the year.

Kimmage Manor Parish is also affiliated with , supporting families whose children wish to receive sacraments such as Communion and Confirmation plus and providing chaplaincy support to the school.

A huge thank you to for supporting the parish on this journey to becoming an Autism Friendly champion, and to Fr Joe, Parish Priest, for his leadership.

Thanks also to .s.montgomery for delivering a fantastic training session in the church.

This is a brilliant step towards inclusion, understanding, and accessibility for all. They are also working towards having a sensory room in the church plus also have a quiet hour between 1pm-2pm Monday to Friday.

From understanding customer needs to fostering accessibility and awareness, they are setting a fantastic example for others to follow.
