8kgs - Bray Beach and as expected Bray was quite clean except for the tiny bits that people don’t see and the tiny bits can be quite entertaining…well we like to make them entertaining, thanks as ever to our fab volunteers that are happy to pose for plastic!!! 💚

8kgs - Bray Beach, Co Wicklow - 3rd class from St Peter’s NS kept up their mission to keep Bray spotless and had loads of fun at the same time…which is what it’s all about, saving the planet always means you can have fun at the same time…and we were given loads of hugs form the children at the end which was a huge treat for us too 🥰🥰🥰

What to see a giant barrel jelly fish in all its glory…of course you do!!! 😂

10kgs - Burrow Beach…one of the most beautiful beaches in Dublin, trashed in the Summer and then left to its natural beauty for the rest of the year! This beach for some reason always has so many plastic bottle tops, we’ve never worked out why 🤷‍♀️ …other than that it was sanitary pads, lots of wipes stuck in clumps, and less tiny pieces of plastic stuck in the sand and a random nappy that has obviously been swishing around in the sea for a while! We had a fab bunch of join us and the weather was just 🌞 💛🌞 💛🌞

2nd class from St Francis JNS had the BEST time on Portmarnock Beach, the excitement of being on the beach slightly out weighed the cleanup, but they were amazing at finding cool shells,
‘shark teeth’ and digging giant sandpits 😉 😍

We pay for the buses to bring the children to the beach and quite often just being at the beach is so good the cleanup can be slightly overlooked 😂 especially when they are very young! The kids were great at listening to the workshop which is really important as it arms them with what they may find on a beach in the future and how they are saving the planet by cleaning the beach 🌍💚

What an amazing weekend of diving with ! and I were working with students for the last 6 weeks so it was so lovely to see them get their open water qualification as a family 😍! It was my first time going to coral strand beach in the west and it was absolutely beautiful! I felt like I was in a tropical country! Doing a beach clean before a dive definitely helps give good karma 😉
