​On behalf of Sanatana Ireland, we are delighted to invite you and family to a special day dedicated to heritage and learning: "RamAyana" Workshop: Discovering the Wisdom and Wonders of the Ramayana.
​This immersive workshop is designed to bring the timeless stories and values of the Ramayana to life. In addition to the workshop sessions, we are hosting several exciting competitions for both kids and adults to showcase their knowledge and creativity.
​Event Details
​Date: Saturday, 14th February 2026
​Time: 09:30am – 4:00pm
​Venue: The W.S.A.F Community Centre, Walkinstown, Dublin (D12XV82)

Competitions & Activities
​All competitions are based on themes from the Ramayana:
Quiz: Open to both Kids and Adults (Separate categories and team of 3).
Elocution: Junior Category: Under 10 years
​Senior Category: 10 years and above
Colouring: For children under 10 years.

Sanatana; …Eternal…Everlasting"

Sanatana Ireland is a non-profit association registered in Ireland(Registered Charity Number 20141684), and our area of operation is Republic of Ireland.

​“Sanatana Dharma” now more commonly known as Hinduism is a way of life based on the teachings contained in the ancient Vedic Texts. Sanatana Dharma believes as expounded in the Rigveda “Ekam Sat Viparaha Bahudha Vadanti” that, whichever path one may choose, the final destination is “Moksha” or liberation of one’s soul through enlightenment. Sanatana Dharma is "anadi" (without beginning), “anantham” (without end) and a-paurusheya (without a human founder). It is the world's most ancient culture. We are really proud that we are all born into and part of that great tradition.

Centuries ago Rishis who lived here realised the value of Sanatana Dharma and lead their lives in accordance with this. In time they passed on these teachings mainly by word of mouth to the following generations. It is hence our responsibility as elders, to continue this by introducing to and teaching our kids all that we know about our great tradition. In countries such as the USA, Australia or the UK, Hinduism already has a reasonable presence. This is not the case here in Ireland owing to our small numbers, hence we have to engage in more such related activities. This forms the basis of the mission of Sanatana Ireland, and we seek to work with all the different associations based here, to achieve our common goals.
