Dublin City Interfaith Forum The Dublin City Interfaith Forum (DCIF) builds bridges between faith communities in Ireland.

DCIF works with interested members of faith communities to deliver interfaith gatherings and activities in Dublin City. Recognising the diverse nature of the backgrounds of the residents of Dublin, DCIF seeks to provide the space and opportunity for Faith Communities to build relationships with and between Dublin City communities, statutory and voluntary organisations and the residents of Dublin City.

“Kindness, Compassion and Connection”, meditation series with the Dublin Buddhist Centre. We need more of this at these troubled times!

Join us on Saturday, 20th June at The Portal, North Earl St., D.1 to meditate for world peace. Starting at 2pm and then at half-hourly intervals until 4pm, we will cultivate kindness, compassion, and connection through a series of guided Metta Bhavana (loving-kindness) meditations, interspersed with periods of chanting. https://dublinbuddhistcentre.org/events/meditation-for-peace/

The message is clear, let us remain profoundly human in the face of new forms of dehumanisation and continue to safeguard this magnificent humanity, bestowed upon us, which no machine will ever be able to replace in all its beauty.

Grateful to the Interfaith Working Group of the Church of Ireland and Dean Abigail Sines for kind invitation to introduce our Safe Haven program and other DCIF projects and activities at the amazing “Dialogue of Friendship - Faithfully Caring for Creation”. Privileged to meet and learn from renowned speakers reflecting on the intersection of religious identity, environmental stewardship, and the concept of sanctuary in the context of the global climate crisis.

FIELD NOTE 1: LOW-COST TOOLS, REAL IMPACT 🕊️

The first PARTESS-COM Field Note highlights a practical point: better protection for places of worship does not always start with expensive infrastructure.

Instead, this edition looks at:
🔹 everyday security measures with high practical value
🔹 exchange of proven solutions across communities
🔹 access to resources through Faith Guardian

This and upcoming Field Notes are designed to:
• inform about project progress
• share relevant outcomes
• highlight practical insights for communities and practitioners
