WYNNE, David Joseph. (Windsor Road, Rathmines, formerly of Stratford-on-Slaney, Co. Wicklow), June 28th 2026, peacefully at St. Vincent’s University Hospital, surrounded by love and in the company of his wife Margaret and his daughter Shirley. Pre-deceased by his beloved son Derek. David was greatly loved and will be sadly missed by his family, friends, neighbours and all who knew him. Generous, kind and caring, he touched the lives of many and will be remembered with great affection.
Funeral Service on Friday (3rd July) at 10.30 am in Sandford Parish Church, Ranelagh (D06 A9P8).
Donations in lieu of flowers, if desired, in David's memory to St. Vincent's Foundation or to your preferred charity. In celebration of David's generous, kind and colourful nature, those attending his funeral are warmly invited to wear bright colours.

Dear all, it is with great sorrow that myself and Margaret need to announce the passing of David J Wynne, a husband, father and friend. He has found peace and we will post details of arrangements in due course.

We are thinking of our good friend and lifelong club member David J Wynne at this time who is in hospital having suffered a stroke.
We would ask you to keep David in your thoughts and prayers that he makes a full recovery.
Our thoughts also go out to his family at this too.
