Say this prayer:

Dear Heavenly Father,
Thank You for giving me Your perfect Word, which brings great faith, freedom, and fruitfulness to my life. Your Word transforms me when I receive it, remember it and put it into practice. Thank You for helping me to be a doer of Your Word, not someone who only hears it.

Today, help me pay close attention to Your Word and obey everything You teach me. Give me grace to control my words and live out my faith sincerely. Let my obedience bring Your blessing into my life and make me a good example to everyone around me in Jesus’ name.

Declare this:

I receive God's Word with faith and joyfully do what it says. As I practice God's Word, I press into greater realms of faith, freedom and fruitfulness in Christ Jesus. I always control my tongue and use my words wisely. My faith always manifests godly character and conduct. I am blessed as I obey God's Word. (James 1:25–26 NKJV)
