The Ballymun Community team enjoyed hosting an international Women's Day event on Monday the 9th of march, in celebration of all the wonderful women in the community.

Attendees enjoyed an event focused on relaxation, self-confidence, and stress management within daily life.

There was also a brilliant delivery of Zumba by Selena, and refreshments from Maggys Deli. With the day being such a success, the team would like to thank everyone involved in bringing the event together.

🎨🐣 The Ballymun Community Team recently partnered with students from Trinity Comprehensive School for a creative Easter arts and crafts workshop!

Participants worked together to design colourful Easter wreaths and decorated pot plants, bringing plenty of creativity and spring spirit to the session.

The workshop brought together members of several local groups including U3A, Glasnevin Active Retirement, the Older Persons Council, participants from WALK, and residents from Bartra Nursing Home. It was a wonderful opportunity for different generations and community groups to connect, share ideas, and enjoy a creative morning together.

🌼 The Easter wreaths and pot plants created by the students will be available for sale at Seven Heroes Square as part of the “Dragons’ Den” initiative on Better Ballymun Day Friday 6th March. Be sure to stop by and support the students while celebrating community creativity!
