SIPTU Private Sector - Manufacturing, Services and TEAC Divisions SIPTU Private Sector represents 96000 workers across the island of Ireland. Join SIPTU online at http://www.siptu.ie/joinsiptu/

Divisions organise workers in a specific areas of the economy, allowing for greater coordination of activities and the pooling of information across industries and services. Each Division is led and coordinated by a Divisional Organiser and an elected Divisional Committee. Within each Division activities are further divided into Sectors dealing with Union operations in similar employments and associated services. Each Sector is led and coordinated by a Sector Organiser and an elected Sector Committee. The work of Division and Sector Organisers is assisted by Industrial Organisers and Assistant Industrial Organisers as well as Union Administrative staff. Each individual Union Section, with its own Section Committee and Shop Steward based on individual places of employment is assisted in its activities directly by the Sector Organiser and their staff.

The FAI ballots its players, maybe it should give its staff similar opportunities regarding their pay, terms and conditions of employment - Collective Bargaining Now ✊

Public funding brings public accountability.

❝ The FAI cannot ask the State and the football community to support its plans while continuing to deny its own workers collective bargaining rights.

If the FAI wants to speak about safeguarding football and improving its governance, it must also explain how it treats its workforce. The Committee should ask when the FAI will enter meaningful collective bargaining with SIPTU and give staff a voice in the decisions that affect them.
