The company cannot be allowed to ignore the Labour Court. It must show respect to the state institutions and pay the enhanced redundancy to the workers.

Don’t pass the Palestinian Picket 🇵🇸🇮🇪✊

Don’t pass the Palestinian picket.

Moving these fixtures from Dublin to a neutral venue behind closed doors does not resolve the issue. It merely moves the Palestinian picket line out of sight.

Our position is clear: don’t pass that picket line in Dublin, in Hungary or anywhere else.

The cowardly decision of the FAI must be overturned - No Game Not Here Not Anywhere

Ireland has long punched above its weight on the world stage as a voice for justice and human rights.

We must not surrender that reputation now.

The Irish Government and the FAI must do the right thing, or be forever remembered as having stood on the wrong side of history.

Humanity is the only Game against Israel’s Genocidal Shame - ✊

It is not enough for Government Ministers to simply refuse to attend a match or look the other way. The Government must lead, invoke the will of the Irish people and of our international footballers, who clearly do not wish to play Israel in these circumstances.

Improved Workers Rights - Cessation of business will no longer mean workers lose out on accrued entitlements ✊

Improved Workers Rights - Cessation of business will no longer mean workers lose out on accrued entitlements ✊

Great news for workers’ rights.

The Protection of Employees (Employers
Insolvency) (Amendment) Act 2026 has been signed into law, something SIPTU has long campaigned for.

SIPTU’s Head of Legal Rachael Ryan said: “This legislation finally provides a pathway for workers who are left without wages, holiday pay or other moneys owed to them when an employer simply closes their doors without going through any formal insolvency process. Too many workers have been left with nothing through no fault of their own. This Act changes that.”
