Some photos and a video of the Tallaght COPD Warblers singing, from the Tallaght COPD Support Group Remembrance Day.
The group said "We were delighted with the great turnout and especially pleased to welcome so many loved ones of members who have passed away. It was heartwarming to see them join us as we came together to remember and celebrate the lives of those who are no longer with us.
We were also delighted to see so many of our current members there, making the day a very special occasion for everyone involved.
After lighting the candles in remembrance of those gone before us, members and families had the opportunity to chat, share memories, and connect over a cup of tea or coffee and some pastries.
It was a meaningful and uplifting morning, filled with remembrance, friendship, and community spirit."
Well done to all involved in organising such a wonderful event! And, beautiful singing by the Tallaght Warblers πŸ‘

The Irish Guidelines for long term oxygen therapy are currently being reviewed by the Irish Thoracic society. As part of the process, they will be making significant reference to persons using home oxygen therapy and they would like to ascertain what the majority of people utilising home oxygen therapy would wish to be called within the national guidelines.

Options are as below but they would welcome alternatives as a comment if possible, too.

If you would like to provide your preferred option, then please vote in the poll above.

Thank you for your time.

It was lovely to meet members of our Nenagh Support Group at the Age Friendly Ireland Expo in Thurles today! The Nenagh Group organised a bus to take them all there. It was a fantastic event with so many community exhibitors and a great opportunity to raise awareness of COPD. Well done to all involved in organising this event πŸ‘

The Mallow COPD Support Group on their summer outing β€” and what a day they had.🌟

They visited two incredible stops: the Foynes Flying Boat Museum in Limerick β€” a truly unique piece of Irish and world aviation history β€” and the Kerry Writers Museum in Listowel, celebrating the literary giants this country has produced.

Thank you to Accessibility Tours Ireland for sponsoring this outing, raising €300 for COPD Support Ireland.

Members of our Tallaght COPD Support Group, The Wheezy Walkers are registered for our Walk for COPD! They have started to meet every Wednesday morning in the Tymon North Park! This week, they were out in force... all three of them!
They say mighty oaks grow from little acorns, and every great adventure starts with a first step. They discovered that there's a whole world of wonder right on our doorstep, from swans and ducks to squirrels, herons, and even a rather cheeky woodland giant keeping an eye on them! πŸ˜„
They may have been few in number, but they were mighty in spirit, laughter and determination.
The fresh air was free, the banter was priceless.
Here's to many more walkers joining them along the way.
The Wheezy Walkers, Small in number, big in heart! πŸ’šπŸƒ
