This was a refight using the scenario found in the Volley and Bayonet rules. The figures are 6mm from Baccus 6mm.
The Austrians started the battle with an assault in the centre led by the Grenadier brigades. While this was going on other Austrian columns advanced on the French flanks hoping to crush the French.
The fighting in the centre was fierce with the French holding the Austrian attacks for several turns before the Austrians were able to break the French line. The Austrians eventually seized Marengo.
Unfortunately the Austrian flanking columns were either stopped dead by French reinforcements or driven back with heavy loss.
