THE COUNTDOWN has begon.....

We are only a few days away from the VHI Women Mini Marathon in Dublin! Taking place next Sunday 31st May..

We are super excited! As every year, members from Soroptimist International Dublin are participating and raising funds for a cause that is close to our heart, and fits with our purpose.

This year, we are running for 'The Forest That Won't Forget' , a national public artwork and place of remembrance and gathering, dedicated by the women and families affected by the failures of the CervicalCheck programme.

Another year, another AGM, great to review all activities and contributions over the past 12 months.

Between the marathon for Teach Tearmainn , the Hidden in Plain Sight campaign for ,Orange The World awareness and of course the National Speaking Competition, to name just a few.

There is much more and so much more to do....but proud to be part of this group who are so dedicated to improving lives of women and girls.

So good to be part of the wider Soroptimist SIGBI , SI Ireland and Soroptimist International Global ...together we are stronger. Also very good to see our friend from Canada ! Daniela Hammond

Great session today with Karen Turner, Senior Outreach Case Worker at Teach Tearmainn, the dedicated domestic violence support service in country Kildare.

Karen gave us from Soroptimist International Dublin a training on Domestic Violence.

Such a key topic, and very important session to raise awareness for the cause and be able to recognise the signals.

Thank you Karen!

Teach Tearmainn provides free and confidential support service to women and children in Kildare who are experiencing .
