In 2025 as part of National Brain Tumour Awareness Week, Brain Tumour Ireland developed a new guide to help spot the signs and symptoms of brain tumours in children and teenagers.

Brain Tumour Irelandโ€™s Patient & Family face to face Support Groups is for people with a brain tumour, family members and carers of people with a brain tumour. This is an opportunity to
connect with others who have a shared lived experience through guided conversation.

The group currently meets face to face on the first Wednesday of every month in Cork, and is free to attend.

These are peer-led spaces that provide social and emotional support through shared experiences, helping our community to feel less alone as they navigate their journey.

On ๐Œ๐š๐ฒ ๐Ÿ‘๐ŸŽ๐ญ๐ก, a dedicated group of entrepreneurs will take on the Irish Three Peaks Challenge - a demanding ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ๐ค๐ฆ ๐ก๐ข๐ค๐ž across three peaks in Co. Wicklow, all in support of Brain Tumour Ireland.

Led by Niall Reynolds and kindly sponsored by Garrett Peers and Ian Bower through ๐๐ฎ๐ข๐ฅ๐๐ข๐ง๐  ๐…๐ฎ๐ญ๐ฎ๐ซ๐ž๐ฌ ๐‹๐ข๐ฆ๐ข๐ญ๐ž๐, this incredible fundraising effort is also being supported by the wider ๐๐ซ๐จ๐ฉ๐ž๐ซ๐ญ๐ฒ ๐„๐ง๐ญ๐ซ๐ž๐ฉ๐ซ๐ž๐ง๐ž๐ฎ๐ซ ๐œ๐จ๐ฆ๐ฆ๐ฎ๐ง๐ข๐ญ๐ฒ in the UK. Together, the group hopes to raise โ‚ฌ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ“,๐ŸŽ๐ŸŽ๐ŸŽ through this one-day challenge across the beautiful Glendalough peaks.

For Niall, this fundraiser also holds deep personal significance as he completes the challenge in memory of his sister Tracy, while recognising the incredible support she received throughout her journey.

Brain Tumour Ireland invites family members and friends who have experienced losing a loved one to a brain tumour to join our online Bereavement Group.

Facilitated by ๐›๐ž๐ซ๐ž๐š๐ฏ๐ž๐ฆ๐ž๐ง๐ญ ๐ฌ๐ฉ๐ž๐œ๐ข๐š๐ฅ๐ข๐ฌ๐ญ ๐๐ซ๐ฒ๐š๐ง ๐๐จ๐ฅ๐š๐ง, this safe, compassionate space offers the opportunity to connect with others in the brain tumour community who have encountered a similar loss.

๐–๐ก๐š๐ญ ๐ฒ๐จ๐ฎ ๐œ๐š๐ง ๐ž๐ฑ๐ฉ๐ž๐œ๐ญ:
This presentation - style format helps to facilitate open, guided conversations, where community members are encouraged to participate, and support one another through the unique challenges of grief. You also have the option to submit questions or comments on the booking page should you wish to do so. This group meets online and is 90 minutes in duration.
