Our theme for March is LOCAL. It was chosen by our Santos chapter in Brazil and illustrated by Simone Matias.

Our Santos chapter had this to say about the significance of this month’s theme:

“We are proud to be from Santos. The feeling of loving the city but sometimes moving away. The benefits of belonging somewhere.”

Watch this video from our Santos chapter for more on what local means to them.

So, how does where you’re from define who you are? How do different spaces foster that sense of connection? How can we develop and strengthen bonds with the people around us?

Don’t forget our next event is on Friday March 27th 🎉🎉🎉

💥💥 SPEAKER ANNOUNCEMENT 💥💥

We’re gathering this Friday February 27th at for another CreativeMornings and welcoming the incredibly talented artist .

Gearóid is a Dublin-based artist who has continued to evolve in bold and colourful directions since completing an MFA at NCAD in 2013.

Painting and drawing are at the heart of Gearóid’s practice, with a vibrant palette and a collage-inspired approach shaping much of his work. He is particularly interested in the figure — using it as a way to explore those quiet (and sometimes not-so-quiet) undercurrents of existential dread and anxiety that so many of us carry.

Over the years, Gearóid’s work has been exhibited in Dublin, London, Berlin, Tallinn and Los Angeles, spanning both wall-based pieces and larger installations.

Looking ahead, Gearóid is preparing for solo exhibitions in 2027, along with a residency in Los Angeles through Circla in April of that year.

Join us to hear Gearóid share his personal and creative journey, and the inspiration and process that led to such powerful work.

🎟️ Tickets are FREE but limited!

Our theme for February is CAMINO. It was chosen by in Asturias, Spain and illustrated by .

Camino is a Spanish word meaning “path” or “way” inspired by the centuries-old pilgrimage of the Camino de Santiago, which has been a symbol of journey, discovery, and transformation for generations.

You don’t have to know exactly where your path leads, just trust that you’ll learn what you need along the way. Wherever you are headed, we wish you, as they say in Oviedo, “buen camino.”

✨✨Our theme for October is SOFT ✨✨

It was chosen by our Victoria chapter in British Columbia, and illustrated by .

Could we all use more softness in our lives?

Soft is gentle, empathic, and vulnerable. But being soft is not a weakness. It is a sign of deeper strength. Having the courage to walk through life without armor. A willingness to listen before speaking. Welcoming whatever comes with open palms. Pulling someone close for a hug.

What if our work was softer? What would we make with a little tenderness? Art that truly resonates. Innovations that heal instead of harm. Communities that hold one another instead of tearing other people down.

Soft can be a quiet form of resistance. Practice subtlety, trust, and intimacy in a world that celebrates loud braggadocio, knee-jerk reactions, and blunt force.

Let’s be open to letting our guard down. Soft can be our salvation!
