Celebrating 9 Years of Community, Culture and Positive Change!
This October marks the 9th Anniversary of the Church of Scientology & Community Centre of Dublin โ nine years of bringing people together, supporting local organisations helping people and contributing to our community!
Since opening in 2017, we have:
โ Welcomed over 600,000 guests from 100 nations;
โ Hosted more than 3,300 community events and activities;
โ Collaborated with over 300 community or charitable organisations; and businesses to foster diversity, inclusion, culture, heritage, moral values, promote drug prevention through education, build understanding and peace.
In our community centre we have hosted everything from international Irish dance championships, concerts and multicultural festivals to humanitarian initiatives, interfaith gatherings and charitable fundraisers, including activities in aid of local community groups such as Clondalkin Helping Homeless, V.I.S.I.T., Ballycullen Foodbank and Tallaght Community Table.
Our community outreach has grown over the years and includes promoting human rights with United For Human Rights; providing drug education with The Truth About Drugs; advocating for human rights in mental health with Citizens Commission on Human Rights (CCHR); encouraging positive moral values and environmental awareness with The Way to Happiness; and our Scientology Volunteer Ministers providing unconditional volunteer help where needed.
Alongside these initiatives, we have delivered 8,046 Scientology life-improvement courses and personal development services to more than 2000 individuals.
We are also very proud to have ordained 38 Scientology Ministers.
All of this work is done daily with one purpose in mind - help and uplift individuals and communities.
This shared effort reflects the vision of Scientology Founder L. Ron Hubbard, who wrote: โI like to help others and count it as my greatest pleasure in life to see a person free himself of the shadows which darken his days.โ
A heartfelt thank you to our parishioners, volunteers, community partners and friends who have contributed to our humanitarian mission over the past nine years!
Here's to many more years of friendship, community spirit and positive change!
Enjoy some of our favourite moments from the past year!
